Pantone Has Teamed Up With Airbnb To Create A Temporary Pop-Up Hotel Dedicated To Pantone’s Color Of The Year And It Is Heaven!
Eat, Sleep, Travel Green.
It seems you can barely do anything nowadays without it being related to the fresh and zesty, ethereal shade of green.
So, it came as no surprise the experts at Pantone chose a green hue as their favorite shade of 2017, a tone officially known as 15-0343 TCX.
Catchy, right?
It evokes the first days of spring and it makes me want to sip on a spinach and ginger shake, whilst rolling around on a freshly mowed lawn in the countryside.
Well, now you can indulge and immerse yourself in this lovely forest hue for about $250 a night. The clever people at Pantone have partnered up with Airbnb to transform a warehouse in London’s Clerkenwell into an ‘outside in’ tropical forest.
When you enter the botanical dreamland, guests receive a green juice matched to the exact same color as the Pantone hue, before being invited to try healthy food and drink, wellness and relaxation sessions and green-themed master classes.
During their stay, guests are encouraged to learn how to make green gin, create their own botanical gardens and take part in fitness and yoga sessions.
They can also forage the warehouse walls for vegetables and herbs, drink tea with leaves picked from a hydroponics installation, and choose plants to make terrarium vases with.
After a day of sampling delights, guests can retire to their jungle green-themed bedrooms.
Additionally, any materials that are used during your stay will be recycled where possible and any leftover plants will be donated to community gardens.
